My Koru design

My koru design is so beautiful. I made it because I was learning about the meaning of Koru in Maori. This week is Maori language week. Koru is for new life, growth, strength and also peace. When I decorated my Koru design I added leaves,  shells, rocks and bark from nature.  It makes me happy to see my beautiful Koru design.

my firefighter helmet.

I liked making my firefighter helmet. First I painted the paper plate red. Then I cut it and decorated my yellow badge.After that I added a band to hold the helmet. Last I got to wear my helmet. I think it looks cool.

A visit from Harold the giraffe

I was so happy to choose my teddy puppet. I said 'hello' to my puppet. Harold helped me to learn about feelings and how to be safe.
